Why Bihar Needs Strong Technical Internship Opportunities?

Bihar is a state with immense potential and talent. It has 38 districts and each has its own government engineering colleges, polytechnic institutes, and universities. Every year, thousands of students complete their technical education with big dreams in their mind. They wish to become software developers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and problem solvers but unfortunately they don't make it. yes, there is a harsh reality behind these dreams.

The Problem: A System That Fails Students

Despite the large number of government engineering colleges and universities, students in Bihar still lack real technical exposure, industry driven skills, and internship opportunities.

Many students face:

Even though universities release guidelines to support students and encourage them to do internships, now it's compulsory but there is no industry or any support from any tech companies and government in Bihar. Some colleges misuse loopholes, they're partnering with private training centers that promise internships but deliver nothing yes, literally nothing and students forced to do because of academic fear and pay thousands of rupees, only to receive certificates without knowledge, experience, or skills. This is ridiculous, It squandering talents. in Bihar.

For years, countless youth from Bihar, leave their homes in search of better opportunities. Even now, most students migrate as the only way to realize their potential but eventually, most of them fail due to a poor tech culture missing the interest and skills.

This is not a student’s failure

It is a failure of the ecosystem.

Solutions: Bodhya

An initiative, hope and direction for the students of Bihar.

Bodhya is an accessible and meaningful tech ecosystem for students of Bihar.

What we do?

We're building a Silicon Valley of Technology in Bihar.

All of these programs will closely follow FOSS United's vision, leveraging benefits from initiatives like FOSS Clubs, City Communities, and Event Grants.

Why Bodhya?

We believe Bihar deserves the same opportunities as any major tech hub. The tech ecosystem in India is growing rapidly. But most opportunities flow toward metros and IITs. Students from tier-2 and tier-3 colleges, especially in Bihar, rarely get a fair shot.

We're changing the whole story. Let's join this movement and make Bihar, a future tech powerhouse.
